About Adagio
Adagio is the answer to a world of rushed itineraries and shallow sightseeing. Rooted in the Italian musical term “adagio” — meaning slowly, with grace — our name reflects our mission: to help you travel more thoughtfully, connect with local traditions, and savor every moment. We work with local hosts, small-scale producers, and passionate artisans to create immersive, intimate journeys — always in small groups, always with respect. Our trips are curated with care, and designed to awaken all the senses: walking through vineyards, tasting freshly baked bread, hearing stories in the language they were born in. Because when you slow down, you see more. You feel more. And you remember more. At Adagio, we believe that travel should nourish — not just your curiosity, but your values, your senses, and your soul.
Behind Adagio
Julie Bizzarri
Founder
Hi! Bonjour ! I'm Julie and I created Adagio to share a different way of traveling — one that honors slowness, sustainability, and soulful connection.
I’m French, born and raised in the Loire Valley, where life moves to the rhythm of vineyards, markets, and long lunches under the sun. I’ve always been an epicurean — passionate about good food, good company, and meaningful experiences. My love for languages, cultures, and the hidden corners of Europe has taken me far, but I’ve always believed that the best journeys are the ones that go deep — not fast.
